Case Study 2: Covered Services
Connie and the HSSS are now at the point in the planning process where they need to tackle the question of covered services. This state does not currently offer the optional personal care service as a state plan option. It’s available as a 1915(c) service, but people who do not qualify for institutional level have no way of accessing personal care.
